Spontaneous Chasing Stars Workshops on the Jungfraujoch
Experience the magic of the stars on the roof of Europe!
The Jungfraujoch – known as the “Top of Europe” – offers one of the most impressive locations for astrophotography in Switzerland, with its clear, thin air and spectacular Alpine panorama. Our spontaneous workshops are designed for anyone who wants to react flexibly to weather and visibility conditions and experience unforgettable nights under the starry sky.
Workshop Highlights
-
Flexible Workshop Concept:
These workshops are organized spontaneously whenever weather conditions promise optimal visibility of the night sky. You will be notified at short notice and can register if the conditions are right. -
Photography Under Ideal Conditions:
Thanks to the high altitude and minimal light pollution at Jungfraujoch, you can expect perfect conditions for breathtaking images of the Milky Way, star trails, and timelapse sequences. -
Hands-On Learning:
Receive professional guidance on camera settings, image composition, focusing in the dark, and post-processing your shots. -
Small Groups:
Enjoy individual attention and exchange ideas within a small group of like-minded participants. -
Exclusive Location:
Photograph on the Jungfraujoch, surrounded by mighty four-thousand-meter peaks and the eternal ice of the Aletsch Glacier—a unique experience that few get to enjoy. -
Optional:
Tips for creating timelapse and star trail images, tailored to participants’ interests.

Registration:
Since the workshop is highly dependent on the weather, such excursions must be organized spontaneously. You can therefore sign up for the newsletter below to stay up to date. As soon as the weather is good, I will announce the workshop via the newsletter about five days in advance, and you can officially register on a first-come, first-served basis. There are only four spots per workshop!
